This is sad in some ways, and amusing in others. Apparently Kim Cameron's identityblog site was hacked. That's the sad part.
When I checked, the site seemed to be functioning normally. I didn't see the hack, so I have no idea how true it all is, or have any opinion on the vector.
The amusing part is the ridiculous commentary attached to this article. For a single instance out of many similar:
ROTFLMAO !!!
- This one was priceless . How can Microsoft's Security Guru site get hacked ? Oh my all the MS fanboys claim that Microsoft products are so secure . <NOT!>
Anyone who knows Kim, or has even bothered to look at his site would know that identityblog is hosted at Wordpress, which runs on some sort of *nix OS. Just goes to show you don't have to be norant* to use the web.
I am curious to see if this had anything to do with Pam's (see pamelaproject.com) Wordpress extensions to support CardSpace.
* "norant" is of course the non-negated root word of "ignorant". Isn't it? :)
