What is it about a rubber chicken that is so... appealing is not the right word. Compelling? Attention-grabbing? I don't know. Its definitely a cultural deal. Americans get the kitchiness of the whole thing, as with Tiki torches, bowling shirts, lava lamps, and hula-girl ornaments on the dash. But the appeal of a rubber chicken is generally lost on Europeans. Except Jorge, of course. And I guess Canadians get it too.
